ABOUT THE HALL OF FAME Dallas Songwriters honors those songwriters from the North Texas area who have inspired us to become songwriters.. Each year we hope to inspire popular local musicians and Rising Star students to celebrate our inductees by performing their songs.. In January every year an announcement of who we will honor and a casting call to local music schools for performers to cover a song of an honoree. Maybe even an honoree will perform. Here’s to many future honorees.
